Where we operate

SML.SA is the first gold mining company in Niger established in 2000.

The operating licenses for Samira-Libiri and Boulon Djounga covering 21.6 km are located in Liptako in south-western Niger, West Africa about 135 km west of Niamey, the capital of Niger .

The Republic of Niger is a Sahelian landlocked country in West Africa surrounded by Algeria and Libya in the North; Nigeria and Benin to the south; from Chad to the East; Burkina Faso and Mali to the west. Niger covers an area of ​​1,267,000 km². Its population is estimated at 17 129 075 inhabitants.

Access to the SML.SA SML site is via 65 km of asphalt road to Farié, then by 70 km of laterite road to the site, for about 3 hours by road. The site has an airstrip that can be used in the event of an emergency for evacuations and shipments of gold 12 km from industrial facilities.

There is also a platform for helicopter landing, adjacent to the administrative office of the site. The base-life is 4 km from the industrial site and it is of international standing.
