The open pit mine is operated by the SML.SA with three Nigerian subcontractors. Resource extraction is currently underway in the mineralized bodies of the various Northwest Libdorado (LBDNW), Libiri Northwest-C (LNWC) trenches; Libiri Sud-est-A (LSEA) and Libiri Sud-est-B (LSEB).
